About The Riverina

The Riverina is an agricultural region of New South Wales, distinguished for its combination of flat plains, warm climate and ample water from its many rivers and irrigation systems. The region’s agricultural diversity and production levels mean it is known for its wine, rice, wool, fruit and vegetables, grain and meat. The major cities of the Riverina are Wagga Wagga and Griffith, which provide many business and education opportunities for residents.

About Griffith

Griffith is a thriving multi-cultural and cosmopolitan city at the heart of the Riverina region of NSW. Developed in the early days of irrigation and designed by Walter Burley Griffin, Griffith is now a busy regional centre with a reputation for producing excellent fruit, vegetables and wine.

Griffith is also geographically close to the other regional centres of Leeton and Narrandera and provides services to a number of smaller country towns such as Rankins Springs, Darlington Point, Barellan and Coleambally.
